Thunderstorm Predicted to Occur in Jabodetabek

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light moderate rain accompanied by thunder will occur in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) between afternoon and night.

"Morning is mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain to fall Seribu Islands and Bogor," said Hary T. Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Thursday (4/27).

In the afternoon, BMKG predicted light rain to fall North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and Bekasi. While moderate rain will fall South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bogor.

Rain Predicted to Fall Jabodetabek This Afternoon

At night, light rain is predicted to fall Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Bekasi, and Bogor. While moderate rain will fall Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, Depok, and Tangerang.

At dawn, light rain is predicted to fall Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and Bogor.

"Beware of thunderstorm to occur in North Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and Bogor between afternoon and night," he closed.

Jakarta's temperature today could reach 23-33 Celsius degree with humidity around 60-95 percent and northeast-south wind velocity that could reach 05-27 kilometers per hour.
